Beautiful picture, isnt it? I've been to Marine Drive hundreds of times now since my college is right next to it. I cant have enough of this place.

The Loner

They tell me - You take such good care of us,
So thoughful, so understanding,
You listen to us lament about all our moments of pain,
Our times of suffering,
in our hour of need.

They say we like you for that reason,
you listen patiently, unflinching,
you are our rock, you give us a shoulder.

I smile and say, thats what friends are for,
as panacea for troubled times,
a harbour in a tempestuous sea.

I say, revel in my companionship,
for I will give you peace when you have none
I will give you solace when you're undone.

They just smile and say - we know we can count on you,
Everyone needs a friend like you..

I smile and just think - When will you realize,
I need a friend like that too..
