Daydream delusion,
limousine eyelash.
Oh baby with your pretty face,
Drop a tear in my wineglass.
Look at those big eyes.
See what you mean to me.
Sweet-cakes and milkshakes.
I'm delusion angel, I'm fantasy parade,
I want you to know what I think.
Don't want you to guess anymore.
You have no idea where I came from.
We have no idea where we're going.
Launched in life, Like branches in a river,
Flowing downstream, Caught in the current,
I'll carry you, You'll carry me.
That's how it could be...
Don't you know me?
Don't you know me by now?

I Wonder..
I do not know whether it is fortunate or unfortunate that, in life, you will never know where the alternative would have led you.

Arrival
I was at the International Airport Yesterday night at the Arrivals terminal. I realized yesterday that all along whenever i went to the airport, it was to see someone depart or travel somewhere myself. I really had no idea what to expect at this arrivals terminal. But when i reached the place, I could already sense that this place was special. I went to receive a dear old friend, who I was going to meet after 15 long months. Met his extended family there and I could see the anticipation that they held in their eyes. Everywhere I looked, I could see that anticipation and joy in everyone's eyes. To see all those faces waiting to get a glimpse of their loved ones after such a long time...So beautiful...
A very fulfilling experience...
PS: It was a treat getting to meet my friend, but it was also an experience that i will remember. A suggestion for all those feeling under the weather..Go out there late at night and see for yourself...

Exceptions
Exceptions abound in life. A generally observed phenomenon does not concern us sometimes...
We think we are the exception, there are billions of people in the world, there will be some whose life cannot be generalized and the usual observations will not apply..
The grave mistake here is to think that we will always be one of them...the ones to whom the usual does not apply.

My Heart
My heart is just too small to swallow pain whole,
It does overflow and the pain trickles out, hurting someone else..
But it does that with happiness too,
and i sincerely hope that the ones who bear the pain unflinchingly,
enjoy the warmth of the joy more...

Option c: None of These
As you grow up, you begin to realize that all the rights and wrongs in life are not so clearly defined. Life is not just Black or White..There are shades of grey in everything that you observe. This becomes clearer when you fall into such situations yourself, and when you do it, there are umpteen ways to justify it, arent there?
An act that seemed unpardonable in the beginning is looked at in a new light, and you begin to realize that it might be legitimate in some circumstances. You begin to question your own beliefs and begin to see why a person might have done what you thought was unquestionably a wrong thing to do. Makes life even more harder, dont you think? A lot of it then depends on your judgement and a judgement is very subjective, difficult to pass when you yourself aren't so sure about what is right or wrong.Maybe you just dont know the context in which the 'crime' was committed or your perspective is still very narrow...
Confused? Me too.
But then i remind myself of that million-dollar quote from 'Before Sunrise', taken in a different context here.
'The answer must lie in the attempt'.
